They are not for sale except at certain holiday times, then they are available most anywhere. Loi Krathong, New Year, Songkran...

Surely there's a "backroom supplier" somewhere. A wat near my house was blowing them up like crazy the other day.

Lots of everything you want at all times of the year at the back of the Wararot Market. Be careful with them because there are an unusual amount of duds. Also, don't be blowing off fireworks just anywhere at anytime, particularly in the village. The police will be concerned.
