Which just proves you can never believe these reports. For example it continually shows Samui with a temp. of 33C,my arse, its more like late 30's up.

Recently i had to do a visa run and was of to malaysia, saw weather reports of impending bad storms torrential rain over a 4 day period, still did the trip of course but it never rained and there were no high winds.

My answer is dont bother with weather reports, they are rarely accurate.

Yes, true, there are thunderstorms and rain some where in LOS every day this time of year. Make sure you stay inside during a thunderstorm and for goodness sake stay away from BIG T(tree)

That's right. The last days on Samui were very sunny and not too hot for April thanks to a constant wind from the West

Try www.Wunderground.com.Samui. If you go into the Aviation section you can get regular Actual weather reports for Samui Airport.

Although fairly self explanatory you will need to be familiar with ICAO terminology to decode the report. Remember the times are GMT.

Another one to try is VTSM Airport Information.

A change of location would help. My beach house is facing the West. As always the Western monsoon starts around end of April. I enjoy a constant wind here since 2 weeks. Extremely pleasant. It's perfect.
