Hi I know I will be told to check the forum but I have gone through many answers to this but no definitve one.For a UK certified passport copy used in support of a Spouse Visa application from Thailand.

I need to know what the photocopy should be like and who can sign it, a link to a government page (Visa/passport) would be ideal.

Are you talking about a visa to the Uk for your wife? I would think the embassy would do it.

Or an extension of stay based upon marriage for here? For this it means to just sign the copy.

Checked your previous post and found that your question is about a visa to the UK.

Moving your topic to the other visa forum.

If you are going to the UKVAC with her then she can take your passport in with her and the staff there will copy it and return the original to her.

If you are sending a copy to her from the UK then you should copy every page, including the blank ones to show that they are blank. Then you can simply write on the copy of each page:-

"I, (full name), certify that this is a true copy of my passport number (xxxxxxxxx),

signed............"

I have done this in the past without problems.

Alternatively you can take your passport to a solicitor; who will copy it and certify each page. They will charge a fee, but how much varies considerably so shop around.

I took a number of copies from the UK with me ( Certified at a UK Jobcentre with civil service stamps etc ) and they were refused. Ended up getting them to copy my passport for me and certify it themselves at UK Vac.

This was also the case when we got married at the amphur.

Seemed to be if they ( The Thai Staff ) could not identify the stamps themselves they simply considered them of no use.
