Beardog
We just built a bridge over our Klong that is 2 meters wide by 4 meters long & I would like real wood decking over it. I know Coconut is out of the question & it most likely won't be teak. Does anyone know what would be the best decking style wood fir the bridge. Maybe rubber wood? Thanks Barry
Jungian
Pressure treated lumber is the best choice it lasts forever and needs little maintenance however; I don't know if you can even buy it in Thailand. If you do manage to find some don't burn the leftover as it is toxic.
Rimmer
Without any doubt Conwood, doesn't warp, Mr. Ant can't eat it, does not rot, when painted it looks like wood with the grain finish and it is no more expensive than wood.
technocracy
Pyinkado aka Mai Daeng . . . will basically last forever, rain, wind or shine . . . no termites or ants will eat it and it looks good. Look up the Wood thread I started a while ago there is lots of info on there.
