Will probably have to teach English until an opportunity comes up in my field. What is the best option for me, as the type of visa needed? Can I qualify for Non-O visa? Thank You. george
You are 50 years and qualify fro NON-O for retirement in Thailand. Ask your local Thai consulate for a Non-Immigrant "O" visa with 1 or 2 or maybe multiple entries. You can NOT work with this O-visa, but it will give you some time to find a job and a school/company who can assist you to get a NON-B and a work permit.
