I want one. My DP1 needs a friend!

"Hugh" - you might want to read up and investigate a little first!

The general concensus of opinion is it isn't as sharp as the DP-1 and this is a concern to those that have bought.

Colour rendition (especially red) is vastly improved BUT.................. soft images !

Lens issue? I understand they both come with the same Foveon sensor.

And I'm still looking to buy DP-1 (locally), between 28mm and 41 I think I'd go for 28.

I'd actually prefer the 41mm.

I say this because 40mm is regarded as actually the "correct" FOV to relate to film factors (i.e. 36 x 24 is actually nearer 40 x 26)

When I analyse my own (recent as in the last few years) images I can see that some 65%+ are shot around the 40 (ish) mm length.

Obviously depends on shooting preferences i.e useless for sport and wildlife, but great for street and candid.
