Letter From The Bank For Marriage Visa

Hello,

I asked two times the letter to the bank for the marriage visa (rule 400 000B in the bank for two month).

But they just gave me the two times a simple reference letter bank... the immigration officer asked for a letter saying the money is in the bank for two month and did not move from there.

The bank employee said this letter is enough for that... but i'm pretty sure is not. I don't want travel to ayutthaya again for nothing, it is pretty far from my home.

In the letter they just say something like that : "This account is running correctly and have xxxxxxx Baht"...

The officer asked for something like that : "This account is running correctly and have 400 000 B for more than two month from this day to now etc etc".

So, do i need to go again to the bank and force them to give me the right letter or i just try with this one again ?

Probably similar to the annual declaration for visa renewal that you'll have to do. Get the bank to provide (stamped) copies of your bank book, which should demonstrate your account balance for whatever period required.

You don't want a reference letter.

You need a letter confirming your bank balance on the date of the letter. Banks do this all the time.

Bank book confirms you balance has been in there for 2 months and should be updated at the time the letter is written. You should do an update of the book on the day you do the application.

You will need copies fo your bank book.
