Ed Visa

I got my single entry ED visa in my home country. Is there a way to convert it to multiple entry visa without leaving Thailand?

No. But if you are a student and school/you qualify you can extend your stay at an immigration office.

So if I want to visit Cambodia, I have to go to my home country first and get another visa, right?

If you get an extension of stay at immigration you can get a re-entry permit if you want to make a trip out of the country.

If you don't get an extension of stay you will have to leave and get a new visa. Dependent upon on what country you are from you could probaly get it at a nearby consulate.

If you just want to leave/return during the 90 day stay of a visa entry you can obtain a re-entry permit to do so. But it will not extend your permitted to stay time and must be done before leaving Thailand.
