Hi to you all, my Fiancee and I are currently in the process of filling out the VAF1A visa application form and i have a few questions.

1, She is my Fiancee and will be visiting my family and me for 2 weeks so should she tick the tourist box of visiting a friend box?

2, We successfully applied for the tourist visa last year and to accompany that application i completed the SU07/01 sponsorship undertaking form. Looking on the guidance notes it mentions "writing a letter of sponsorship support" Which should i do, write a personal letter or fill out the form?

It appears that things have changed from last year and maybe its me but using the Border Agencies Web Site and its "guidance" seems a lot more confusing this time.

Yes, write a sponsor's letter outlinig a brief history of your relationship, the reason for her visit at this time and your future palns together. Also include any expansion or clarification of answers on the VAF form and any points not covered elsewhere.
