Non Immigrant O Question

Featured Replies

I will be applying for an Non Imm O Visa tomorrow in Singapore , wife is Thai.

I see that there is a requirement to show an onward ticket, my Singapore employer will be flying me into Thailand but I will not have an onward ticket to show the Embassy.

Do I need to show a ticket out of Thailand to qualify for the Visa ?

If so , as I would be applying for a 1 year visa , does the ticket need to be a year in advance?

I,m trying to speak to some one at the Embassy but the lines are busy.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do not believe you will obtain more than a single entry 90 day visa in Singapore (although not sure about Singapore nationals) - better you visit KL for your one year visa. And you should have a Thai bank account to show them.

The only positive reports for multiple entry visas have been from Singapore citizens or residents.

All others have been single entry visas.

Thanks for the replies.

I have been on continous Employment Passes in Singapore for almost eight years now,,this one is up as the job is done. I want to apply before the present Pass expires.

I dont have a Thai bank account but will be able to show funds from accounts in the UK and Singapore in excess of 400,000 Baht.

Regarding the ticket,,they will only need to see a ticket out of Thailand, I may buy an Air Asia one way to KL.

For a non immigrant visas most embassies and consulates do not ask for a ticket.

Are these the numbers that you have using to contact the embassy. You could also email or fax them.
