How to keep one eye on the road and the other reading the directions?? In any case, once on Hwy 309 heading right into Ayutthaya, at the 2nd light (just before the large left curve), turn left. There's a sign there saying "stadium." The entrance to the sure not-very-fancy looking park/stadium is 300 m on down that road on the left. Immigration is around in back. Note, they do close for lunch 1200-1300 hrs. I was there last Monday at 1255, the Immigration guys showed up right on time and I was out the door at 1305 hrs. Mac
May 20, 200917 yr The Ayutthaya immigration office is, strangely, neither on the official list of the Immigration Bureau (http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/post-a83866-.html) nor on their website (http://www.imm.police.go.th/nov2004/en/base.php?page=central). If somebody can get from them official information about their service area I would like to add this information to the placemark for this office on the ThaiVisa map (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&...mp;t=h&z=18) -- Maestro The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

May 20, 200917 yr Thanks, Robby. Mailing address (for those who do the 90-report by mail) and official service area will be helpful. -- Maestro The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
May 26, 200917 yr Author Went to Ayutthaya immigration yesterday but didn’t get a lot of info as there is very little English spoken there and my poor version of Thai was of little help. I did get a phone number, which they had written on the wall and had to go look, it is: 035 322667. As for an address all they had was a stamp in Thai as follows: งานขออยู่ต่อ (อย) ศตม.ภ.กลาง สนามกีฬากลาง จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา 1300 If I understand correctly all it is Ayutthaya Stadium. As for the area they cover I couldn’t get that idea across at all, possibly if you get a Thai speaker to give them a call you may have better luck. They did mention the word “temporary” but I couldn’t work out in what context he was talking about, might be moving elsewhere or closing.[/size]
May 26, 200917 yr Author Oh and I almost forgot, They asked why I wanted a mailing address and I told them in case I wanted to send a 90 day report my mail and I was told "Can Not can only do in BKK office, must come here " So they may not accept mail reports?
