May 20, 200917 yr Sure. If you have a multi entry non immigrant visa you can leave/return any time for a new 90 day stay during the validity of your visa. You can even stay for a vacation if you like.
May 20, 200917 yr Yep. You can leave and return by any method you choose. Plan ahead and you will find Air Asia cheaper still.
May 21, 200917 yr Author Thanks guys - would include a short vacation, but the mrs does not want to travel outside thailand in case she get the moo fever - shame all that shopping money saved.
May 21, 200917 yr Flying to KL with Malaysia air isn't that much more expensive than Air Asia when you consider all their add ons - just booked a flight to KL only 1300 baht difference and when you take into account the better transport arrangements from KLIA - ie high speed train to KL the difference in cost becomes almost negligible plus you actually feel like a passenger as opposed to a cash sum.
