Accommodations At Koh Samui

Featured Replies

My family (wife and 2 very young kids) will be staying in Koh Samui for 19 nights beginning in late August.

Could anyone suggest a place? We're looking for the following:

-Lamai Beach (preferably)

-Located within a short walk to the beach and nightlife

-Reasonably nice but budget (approx. 1000 baht / night is possible)as we'll be staying for 19 nights

Also... Would it be better to only book a night or two in advance and seek better deals upon arrival? That's the feeling I got last time we were there but I'm still not certain if that is the best thing to do. If places have lots of vacancies, do they lower prices quite a bit for walk-ins?

Thanks...

Good location and good quality central Lamai try Lamai Wanta -tel 077 424 550

You won't get a family room for 1000 probably nearer 1800 .

Check Seabreeze in Lamai...they have just build many new rooms and right on the beach...

The Spa at the Beach...quite reasonably priced...

I'd second that one. Right on the beach, shot walk to all the action, has free wifi, rooms are clean & modern (though perhaps a bit spartan, as for the money you can't expect the Ritz).
