Anyone have experience with making a tourist visa at the Thai Consulate in Savanaketh Laos.

I need a new tourist visa and am staying in Mukdahan, so it would be easy for me to go to Savanaketh, just a few miles from Mukdahan.

You can try but it will only be a single entry. They have been known to turn people away if they are trying to get back to back visas (even non immigrant). If you have a bank book take it with you to show you have money.

If they turn you down at least you would get 15 days when you come back. They won't take your money unless they are going to approve the visa.
