midas
I just wondered if there is a movie censorship body in Thailand because the new movie " Birth " with Nicole Kiddman has mysteriously vanished from all the cinema lists ? Admittedly there was some controversy about its content but it had an interesting review in the Bangkok Post - but it` no longer listed anywhere on the Movieseer website. Is this likely to be because someone somewhere has made a decision it is not suitable for the Thai public or just because the cinema companies dont think it is a good " bet " ? britmaveric
Not a very good film anyways. I'm quite confident you can find it on knockoff dvd if you are so inclined.
Thaiboxer
Movie censorship is always an interesting topic...here in Thailand, it seems the movie regulatory boards tend to censor mainly sex scenes and the "F" word from imported films but virtually all the violence is still there and many Thai films have just as much bloodshed and killing as their Western counterparts.
