Qualify For Free Thai Medical Aid

Featured Replies

my thai partner who is a government employee says that i would qualify for full free medical care if we married. can anyone confirm this. also would i qualify for any other free benefits.

If you are or become the spouse of an gov. employee why would you not get the same benefits as other spouses get?

This is correct.

also would i qualify for any other free benefits.

You could probably assume you won't have to pay her for sex any more.

Getting a job and getting in the Social Security system would be cheaper in the long run.

That assumes that you would just get married for the health benefits.

Fat chance.

Regarding medical care please check with the district office of your residence.

My GF is a government servant and we been living for a number of years together. Last year on a separate matter we inquired if we registered our marriage at the district office whether I would be entitled to medical care as a Thai. The answer was no. I did not asked for the reason as I am subscribed to the Social Security.
