Divorced Thai Woman.

A Thai woman who has just divorced (she was seperated from her hubby a year prior to divorcing and so was able to divorce without need of his consent - he never lived in Thailand). Does she need to wait any time before being able to re-marry?

Yes, she must wait for nine months before remarrying.

I thought you had to wait 3 years before being able to divorce without consent or is that just for the husband?

She is divorced. There is a nine month waiting period to allow for birth of a child and them deciding to get back together. But believe a doctor can certify her not pregnant and the waiting period eliminated.
