Has Anyone Ever Used A Visa Agent On Koh Samui?

Featured Replies

About 2 year ago a scam was ongoing with fake visa from CARDIEF(wrong spelling).

I tried to find the topic but was not able to.

It is illegal to send Passport outside Thailand.

I have one of the "Cardief" stamps from 2004 and it is genuine (I physically went to the consulate in Cardiff). Never noticed until someone mentioned the iffy stamps.

This is Croosy's stamp from a topic he posted it in.

CARDIEF is Welsh for Cardiff.

If you have a stamp with "Cardiff" it's fake.

I was offered this service three years ago.

It was supposed to take one week.

I calculated days if I went to Malaysia and sent it to Cardiff from there and back.

I could not get it to one week.

Shall I name the company? :)

Thaivisa... it's a never-ending source of learning. :)

* However, I still think it's funny that if you have somthing spelled "properly", it's illegal. *

You are right there is no way it could be done in a week. My estimate is at least 2 weeks. And that is 2 weeks here without a passport a lot could happen in that amount of time that could require you having it.

Please don't mention the company.

That's what we thought, but the Welsh spell it Caerdydd on the road signs. There is a Cardief Bay though (near Cardiff).

Perhaps our OP can tell us how his stamp is spelt (or is it spelled) :)

Thanks all for your input, i have used this person once before and i got asked a few questions but got through ok. I have just done my visa run with the stamped departure card and visa from cardiff and not one question and probably the easiest visa run i've ever done...i will be using this service again and yes the passport is actually posted to cardiff for the visa and all is well...only 15k for a year non-b too :)

P.S. its spelt cardiff but someone i know got arrested for having his spelt cardieff. I have just done my border run and as i said everything went nery well so it's not a fake.

This has now been discussed thoroughly. If any one is stupid enough to go down this route up to them. It is totally illegal and as such is against Thai Visa Rules.
