German Man found dead in his Central Pattaya home.

On Thursday Afternoon, Police Lieutenant Colonel Sumet from Pattaya Police Station was called to house number 102/24 located in Soi 3 off the Central Pattaya Road to investigate a foreign fatality. Inside the bedroom was the body of Mr. Frank Renier Knittel aged 65 from Germany, the owner of the house.

He was slumped over the edge of the bed and initial inspections of the house and body suggested there were no signs of foul play.

A longtime friend and neighbor of the deceased man, Khun Sitipon aged 58 explained that Mr. Knittel would often invited people back to his house and she noticed that his Rolex Watch was missing and suggested that he may have had a heart attack while in the company of guests who may have taken the watch after they realized he had died.

A post mortem examination is now underway and the German Embassy in Bangkok are aware of the death.

Clever of the neighbour to notice the watch had gone missing without going through all his belongings and to suspect he has a heart attack, pity you cant rely on the journalist who quoted her.

Let's see... the guy appears naked... lubricant and pills found nearby... Rolex watch missing....

And he just happened to died of a heart attack???? I'd say a bit more is afoot here...

OF COURSE MORE IS INVOLVED.

65 YEAR OLD FARANG NEVER DIE OF A HEART ATTACK!

THAI PERSONS AND PROBABLY MULTIPLE LADY BOYS + THAI CHINESE LAND LADY CONSPIRED TO KILL HIM AND STEAL SAID WATCH. THEN THEY JUST PAID OFF THE BIB.

Another quite day in the news office?

I am highly suspicious that there are reporters running around with pockets full of props just to to invent a story of the sad sercumstances of a non newsworthy death.

Is there no law of trespass in Thailand? can reporters and TV crews just walk into what may be a crime seen and probably trash any invaluable evidence?

what are those pills they look like viagra but the wrong colour, chinese imports?

I'm not an expert but the Indian Viagra tablets I've bought in Mumbai are that size, shape and colour. And very good they are to.

V isn't meant to be used by people that have low blood pressure, perhaps this contributed to this guys demise.

Condolences to the friends and family. Sad that so much information about a deceased person is in the paper. A little more information than is necessary.

Totally agree & probably not totally factual either

:)
