July 8, 200917 yr Mods, please move this if you feel there is a more appropriate forum. I placed it here in hopes many people would read it. I'm flying to the US in a few days, if the borders aren't sealed. I'd like to bring some things back - a printer that costs ฿4,200 there but ฿11,000 here, and a few other things that will bring me well over the ฿10,000 allowance. What I'd like to do is compare landed costs here vs purchase costs here. To do so, I'd like to have a link to the customs service site that shows the duty on various goods. I've found the site for personal automobiles (not bringing one lol) but for the life of me I can't find the link that gives the percentages for duties. Your help is, as always, greatly appreciated.

I would guess maybe somewhere on here?..... http://www.customs.go.th/Customs-Eng/indexEng.jsp I imported stuff in bulk through a shipping agency so all I did was list the household effects, electrical stuff, books, tools, etc. and they worked it all out so I can't help on individual items. .

I appreciate the link, but that's where I started. If you don't know the 3,6,8, digit code, you can't get past to where you need to be. And I can't figure out where the digited codes are. When I find a link, there's nothing to do with computers or printers. Buqqer...
