IanForbes
Lovely children on this thread... all of them. I'm relegated to just enjoying my grand kids now... 3 of them between ages of 4 and 6. At that age they are so natural and full of life. Whatever their feelings are you can tell instantly and they don't hold any grudges. Ethnicity means nothing to children. They accept everyone at face value. Some are shy and some are precocious, but they have to be taught to be nasty to others. As the famous song from South Pacific goes... They've got to be taught, before it's too late, before they are 6 or 7 or 8, to hate all the people their relatives hate, they've got to be carefully taught. Teach them properly at the early stages and they'll be a joy forever. As some pundit once said, "A child learns more from birth until they are six than the entire rest of their life" I would believe it.

kenk3z
Here's a picture of our little Terdsak a few days old. We just love him. Many people have told me that having a child changes your life. I heard that so much during my wife's pregnancy that I really anticipated this change in my life. Frankly, the feeling is pretty much the same now post-Terdsak with the exception of more work and a feeling of really having a family. Then there are the large number of questions from my wife's family about my own family background and origin. Everyone says the child resembles me to some extent, but is yet not quite what they expected.

BuddhistDruid
Here are the twins at 5 weeks legal age. They were born 8 weeks premature on June 7, 2010, so they are actually -3 weeks old adjusted age at this point. Possibly still a bit too young to see their features, but they are still adorable and the best gift we have ever received. Ryan is 1 minute older than his sister. Mom and Dad are very proud.
