Based on marriage you can stay in thailand if you have an incoem of 40,000 baht a month OR 400,000 in a bankaccout in Thailand. The income can be from outside of Thailand.

For a teacher there is no income requirement, but be warned that you realy have to like teaching and the requirements for a teacher regarding their education are getting stricter.

In Thailand you only share what you acquire during your marriage, if you divorce all assets you had before the marriage stay out of the setlement. Not to mention you can make an agreement with your wife before you marry and enter it in the register when you get married.
