I was wondering if anyone can help me. I have tried to find out through various different places and have recieved no response.

I was in Thailand for 2 weeks in Dec 2008,then I applied for a 60 day tourist visa in Sydney from Feb til March, then applied for an extra month at the Bangkok Immigration office, which was granted. I left in May 2009 to go to Cambodia. So in this time I have been in Thailand for over 90 days. I really want to go back to thailand in August or Sept just for a month (30 days) and wonder if this is possible to do as I do not want to buy a ticket and find I cannot get into the country.I hear that there is a 6 month ruling saying that I cannot go back in until 6 months after the day I left Thailand? Then I am told it is now not in place, i need to buy my ticket soon so need to know! No matter who I ask, I get different responses and have had no response from Thai immigration or various consulates and embassies...I have tried the internet and various other sources but to no avail! I am a UK passport holder who has been travelling for 7 months.

Cheers!!

Agreed, it hasn't been in effect for quite awhile now, and it never had anything to do with entries with a visa, even a tourist visa. It only applied to "Visa Exempt" entries. You won't have any problem returning.

No problem. Enter by air and get 30 days. Enter by land and get 15 days. OR gets a Tourist Visa while they are free.

He seems to be saying that he doesn't want to buy a ticket. If he is trying to travel on a one way ticket he'll have a problem even getting to Thailand.
