There was a gunfight involving 2 groups on the beach road in Patong today, just before 2pm.

It's reported on Phuketwan.

Yes, it took place in a soi opposite the hotel where Mrs CM works and apparently had something to do with a land dispute. About ten shots fired by all accounts, one man taken away to hospital in the back of a pick up and apparently the police did not find the shooter(s). All Thai's and no farangs involved.

The erupting increasing violence year by year, the whole country is mostly propelled by money. Corrupted police don't enfort the law; drug dealers sell yabaa more expensive pushing junkies to make more crimes to buy the dose; fighting for interest provoke far west fighting; etc etc etc
