I believe the problem is finding a reliable source and as far as I know George hasnt been able to find one. I suspect there isnt any plans at the moment.

Does www.SMS.ac not have a free plan, or at least have 2-3 free SMS free per day ?

Do a look back at the past few pages of topics in the computer and internet subforum, as there's about 4 topics alone on free sms to/from Thailand. Please search through and resist the urge to start yet another one.

For all it costs, I just use the paid version and skip the hassle.

Try www.ipipi.com US$34 for 350 SMS (til 10th March 10% Discount offer) you will save yourself a lot of grief looking for 'free' SMS.

Perhaps if the people in charge at Thai visa removed the obviously spurrious reference to 'free SMS' from their home page people would not be encouraged to start new threads on the subject.

and

www.sms.ac is not free although it may or may not be possible to send free SMS they send you spam SMS messages that cost big money at least for UK registered mobiles.
