Ferrets and Toys

Remember:

A lot of ferret owners discard cleaning their ferrets' toys. But think about all the gross things those toys have been through. Maybe you don't even want to! Now you know why you should clean them. Most stuffed animal toys can be thrown in the washer just like their bedding. The plastic toys should be dumped into a bucket of hot water. This will make it easier to scrub the slime off of them. After they are done soaking (about 10 minutes) take them out and run them under water. Scrub them with a towel or other cleaning scrubber.

(See - its all true)

You'll get this thread closed down, talking about scrubbers.

3 misconceptions about ferrets

1) They stink.

Not emasculated animals, yes, they do stink. And you should be ready for it, if you intend to breed. But also you should know that not castrated animals live about 4-5 years old, and castrated - 8-9. Еheir "waste product" by the way, unlike cats and dogs, do not smell at all!

2) They bite.

Wild ferrets, calves and animals who was beaten, or kept only in the cell bite like tigers. But even such an animal with proper care and affection stop to bite in a month. For the animal, which is treated with kindness, play and communicate, you can probably use the phrase "lick to death". During the game, they can, like a dog "to designate" a bite, but do not bite!

3) They do not tame

In Russia, this animal already been classified as a home pet and receive a passport as a cat or a dog. Sometimes they even called a "catodog."

He walks on a leash like a dog, playing and jumping for a bow like a cat, hides and love their toys like a dog, uses paws like a cat (and climbing up the curtains, by the way :D ), digs a hole like a dog, use a toilet like a cat, rushes to defend his master like a dog ..

. and so on ...

...But of course, baby ferret will require attention as well as a dog puppy - crying at night, yearn ... it should be taught to go to the toilet in the right place, thinking about his diet, monitor them dragged into his mouth some piece of crap. And also to play, communicate, walk...

But for the working man ferret - the perfect solution: They do not meow or barks, they sleep 19 hours a day, easy to learn to master the daily routine and really really funny -). Many of my friends who have a lot of ferrets for many years, called them "our piece of positive"

ps

In response tracer, would like to reply that we go out with a ferret very rare - maximum of 1-2 times a month. The exception is uptown vacations. There he runs around on a leash around 1 hour a day (evening). Loves to dig in the sand on the beach.

^^ This a a very old (and very double edged) thread- any particular reason for dragging it up and making it suffer again?

Especially when you're actually talking about ferrets. :D

Please accept my sincere apologies for raising the old thread.

I will ask the moderator to delete the photos. I posted it with the best intentions. Now I understand that I have to remove it. Again, I apologize. I hope my post will serve you an extra field to warm up in the witty jokes.

Oh, Thank you very much!

I did not realize at first "the rhythm" of this forum and relaxed. Next time I should think more seriously about the audience here. Reading the posts above, I realized that was little bit wrong with my post and pictures.
