Replacing Maxnet Router

Featured Replies

I have moved to Chiang Mai and unfortunately [!] still with Maxnet. Speedtest is much higher here but actual downloads are even slower here for me.

So i am thinking of replacing Maxnets standard router. Anyone else already done this? And was it worth it.

Any recommendations?

I have replaced the ISP's original router for several customers, most of the times have been because they wanted one "box" to handle it all (ADSL modem + wireless router) instead of two. This greatly reduces the chances for problems with your network setup.

I'm not sure it will speed up your download speed though, that sounds a bit unlikely.

i was getting very slow downloads and tech support from secrets replaced my router and now i'm getting 3.5mb persec download and 0.45mb persec upload [bangkok server] i live in pattaya. the new router is a cisco's linksys and cost 2380baht from tut com in pattaya
