Up until now, I have been very disappointed with GPS phones. That may change soon. It appears that this phone will do it all.

Were they not claiming a release about 18 months ago.. Its been delay after delay..

I recently read they were scrapping thier development of the firmware and moving to a customised android base and pushed back release again ??

I recently read they were scrapping thier development of the firmware and moving to a customised android base and pushed back release again ??

The press release said that it (Linux OS) went on sale in Taiwan July 26th and would be sold in much of Asia sometime in August. The second model will follow soon with a Windows Operating system. I have NOT seen any prices.

The link was just the old announcement..

The later posted link looks like its ready to street.. Will watch that one.. The big issue with GPS phones us usually battery life when doing dual GPS and phone duties.
