syd barrett Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 An old Sony digital camera (Cybershot series 1) has only a 64 MB memory stick (Flat style). In Tuk Com can anyone recommend where I can buy a memory stick (Sony) either Sony or generic of a higher memory?
thpitsch Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 There is a Sony shop in TukCom at the ground floor
Phil Conners Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Expensive and proprietary memory sticks is another good reason not to buy Sony products
wpcoe Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I would check IT City (or whatever it's called .... the store that covers the entire 5th (?) floor) for other brand name substitutes. I bought a SanDisk card for my Sony camera a while ago, and though I can't recall the price I do recall it was about substantially cheaper than the Sony brand MemoryStick.

Phil Conners Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Genuine what? It's a memory stick! Did you think Sony make them themselves?

Thanks I'll check it out. You mean the top floor? Yes, the uppermost public floor. (I think there might be a higher floor with warehousing?) It takes the entire floor. When you step off the escalator, you're facing the section with printers, and the section that you want is behind you.
