- Wood Fair organized on Soi Prachanarumit in Bang Po. March 5 - 6. Woodcarving competition; food stands, etc...

Subway: Bang Sue + short ride by taxi.

This street is filled with shops dealing in furniture, teak wood, woodcarvings, made-to-order products, parts, etc. Very good choice of fittings like handles, knobs, hinges, special screws, etc for kitchen cabinets or any furniture; special brackets for shelves, and other stuff for doors, windows, etc...

It's where cabinet makers get their supplies. Shops sell retail and wholesale, they have a lot of parts and other stuff you won't find anywhere else in Bangkok.

- Thailand International Furniture Fair (+ OTOP products). Impact Arena Exhibition & Convention Center (IMPACT), Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok

Trade: March 4 - 6 (10.00 - 18.00 hrs.)

Public: March 7 - 8 (10.00 - 21.00 hrs.)

Note that fairs in Muang Thong Thani are very busy during the Public days. To visit during the Trade days, you usually need to fill a form and leave your business card. There are free buses to/from downtown during the Trade days. See bus schedule on the web site.
