Dear All,

Kindly clarify on this:

I went to Immigration at Bkk to extend my tourist visa. The process was as usual. In the seal of the visa valid date,

Extension of stay permitted up to ................

HOlder must leave the KIngdom within the date specified herein, offenders will be prosecuted

signature ............

Date ................

Notice

To keep your stay permit/re entry permit must be made before leaving Thailand

Notification of residence must be made every 90 days.

When I did previous times, they dont put that "Notice". But this time, they did.

I do understand the meaning of this 2 lines under "Noitce". I had used 3 Tourist visa from Vientiane, Laos. I wonder myself for about taking another tourist visa to Thailand on end of Aug. That "Notice" can be something for my another tourist visa? So far, we can get tourist visa from Laos as usual? Very sorry that if I asked you silly questions.

Porbably a mistake by immigration. As you will not stay longer then 90 days in Thailand, it doesn't concern you. Only people who are longer then 90 days in a row in Thailand, without leaving the country, have to make the report.

You can get another tourist visa without any problem.

It's just a stamp which they used this time, but since you only have a Tourist Visa the 90day reporting does not concern you.

There should be no problem to get another Tourist Visa from Laos.

Do not worry. The stamp should never have been used by immigration. It applies to people on extension of stay, not to people on tourist visa. Any consulate should understand that!
