Book early, save heaps with Lufthansa early bird promotion

BANGKOK (thaivisa.com): -- German national flag carrier Lufthansa has announced early bird airfares for travel from Bangkok to 40 destinations in Europe starting at Bt33,100 (about $US972), inclusive of all taxes and charges.

Tickets are on sale from now until August 31 for outbound travel dates between October 1 to December 10, with return travel needing to be completed by March 10, 2010.

Passengers departing Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport who complete check-in and seat allocation online can use the airlines baggage drop-off service at counter G6, while non-German speaking passengers are able to take advantage of the airlines Family Service at Frankfurt and Munich airports.

Lufthansa is a founding member of Star Alliance, the world's largest airline alliance, and operates more than 500 aircraft. Last year more than 70.5 million passengers flew with airline.
