I Must Admit ......

Yes, well, unfortunately, it has been my experience that some people can only ever see or focus on the negative in life and assume that those who choose to not do so are viewing life through rose colored glasses.

I get accused of being naive about Thailand on a regular basis (rather amusing, really, since I have lived here for 20 years) but the fact is that while I am well aware of the negative things in life here and in people here, I choose to not focus my life on those things. I believe that those who choose to focus on the negative find that their attitudes engender further negative experiences.

You get what you give, is probably the quicker and easier way to phrase that :)

robblock: again hmmmmm..... I think that a majority of British citizens will strongly disagree with you, as they always talk how much they're missing ex PM Margareth Thatcher. They've had a couple of male PM after her, but only for the worst, according to the British people.

Men have done their best to keep the Ladies at home (away from power). So in reality, women have almost never been given the chanse to proof themselves. However the few that have climed to leading position, have done an excellent job.

Even in Thaivisa, it's easy to see that the female moderators do a far better job, than the male moderators. Why else is it almost Zero % bashing and fighting here, while some of the other sub forums are full of it?

I rest my case.

I wonder why everyone spells my name wrong. Your not the first but i guess ill have to live with it.

Margret Tacher wasnt a real softy and I don't say she did not do a good job but she was not more benign then most male PMs.

Like others said the ladies moderate too in the other forums. I just think that general is the worst part of the forum.

For the record i have no problem with females.

he he Im sure Margey has to deal with same problem. Classic you cracked me up :) you spelled both wrong lol Margaret Thatcher

Wow, a mortal sin I guess......"I spelled both wrong". My oh my.

Did you call TV3 and TV7 ? Do I make the headlines ?

Being so clever as you are, sad you didn't manage to scroll 1 post back and read quote: "sorry my spelling, not my native language".

Still you feel the "need" to clamp down on my spelling? Something personal is it? Be my guest. I just added you to my ignore member list.

And you did not see/comment all the others spelling?

BTW you quoted 2 posts, only 1 of them was mine...... Too much "crack"? :)

Hard to stay on topic, I see. :D

Amazing how some people just love to "wind up" others, rather than stay on topic and come with something related to the topic.

A real "Caveman" a k a Keyboard warrior....

Just see your post 4am where u write about yourself "am I the only Bull on TV" or something = U already know the answer. Sounds like a good idea you wrote "maybe stay off posting for some time"

Hear hear sbk. I have asked my friends that if I ever start moaning the way I hear some expats do, then they should send me back to England on the next plane asap. Why people stay when they hate everything is beyond me. A very good friend of mine has recently moved back to the UK. She is soooo goddam happy there and it has made me realise how miserable she was here. She was negative about everything and everybody and it really made me fear for what I would be like in a few years. But the fact was there was things she needed to do in the UK (like further her education) that she couldn't do here and her life had just ground to a halt. Now she enjoys visiting here (though truth be told she would rather not even do that, but certain situations mean she has to). In fact when I was back in the UK working this year, her positivity about how great her life was was making me want to punch her - probably just as how she had been feeling when we were both in Thailand.
