Richb2004v2
I have an ASUS netbook that used to run a Linux system. I recently opted to switch back to Windows and decided to install XP myself. I did this without much bother, but afterwards I had no wireless internet connection and various other things didn't seem to be working. In the end I took it into a local IT centre and had a technician put it right. This took him about 3 or 4 hours and seemed to involve downloading all the drivers. Although it only cost me 300 baht I would like to be able to do it myself. How would I do this without actually physically connecting the machine to the internet? endure
The Asus netbook that I had came with a DVD with a Linux install on it. It also had a directory called 'Drivers' which had all the necessary drivers for XP.
Tywais
As endure mentions, the DVD that came with the netbook should have all the necessary drivers. If for some reason it doesn't, you can go to the ASUS website and download them from there. They will also have the latest drivers.

Thanks.

I use Drivermagician (DML.EXE), it will collect all the drivers used the the machine and put them in one folder for back up, put them in memory stick or CD. I use this before I wipe the disk clean so I do not have to down load all the drivers all over again.
