Hi there, I have just been informed that it's possible to get a non immigrant b from inside Thailand for a fee of 5,900 baht. Some Thai legal advisor said he would e-mail me the applications and it would take 3 weeks.

You get a single entry which is then extended at immigration fro 9 months and you don't have to go to Cambodia just check in at immigration every 3 months. I know someone who has one from the same guy and says it's fine.

Has anyone every heard of this? Obviously I'm a bit sceptical of this.

But only if your employer can provide 2 years audited accounts.

HAhaha he made it sound a lot easier than that. We'll see what happens i guess.

Be very careful, there is no way to get a visa whilst you remain in Thailand. This means they are doing something dodgy (like sending you PP overseas), alot of people got caught with this a few years ago with the 30 day visa runs - heavily fined, deported and blacklisted.

Ask the guy exactly how he intends to get a visa, if he tells you he's sending it overseas don't do it. Thai immigration has entered the digital age and you will have an exit and entry stamp missing next time you leave the country.

the passport never leaves my hands ,they send process all the applications for me and go with me to immigration and get it sorted. The guy whom I know that has one has left the country numerous times with no problem.
