So a friend and i are going to be in bangkok from the 28th August-4th Sept. We don't know anyone in the area, but would like to meet more people to hang out with?

Hi. Hope you have fun on your adventure but just be careful. Bangkok is a fun city, but can also be dangerous for the unwary. Your first post is on an internet forum and your asking to meet strangers to hang out with. That worries me a bit. The ladies on this forum are very nice. But I also know (from various posts from people deleted or banned) that there are also alot of weirdos out and about. Please just be careful with who you meet over the internet.

P.S. I wanted to add that there is a pinned list of useful clubs/organizations and safety tips at the beginning of this forum. I hope you can take a look.

Some good advice from Submaniac! I would add that if you do decide to meet anybody, then make sure that you and your friend are together and also you are in a public area and don't go anywhere private with them.
