GU22
Terry, to take you questions in order. Fast track. This is known by the embassy as a "short interview." This is granted when all the supporting evidence is submitted with the initial application and this evidence satisfies the ECO that all the criteria have been met and therefore the ECO is "minded to grant" the visa. In which case the visa may be granted after a short interview at the counter, or even no interview at all. The application must be made by the applicant, that is your wife. Therefore you cannot apply or book the interview from the UK. However, you can download the application form (VAF 2) from Application Forms and Guidance , complete as much as you can and then send it to her together with your documents for her to sign, add her documents and then submit to the embassy. You can find full details of this procedure from Build Your Own Settlement Visa Supporting Evidence Folder on the Thailand-UK website, but to access the page you will need to register with them. GU22
This is what was said by T-UK when someone complained Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. cause us far too many problems. If you are willing to handle all of the following for us, we may reconsider: Have bounced emails forwarded to you. Have full mailbox messages forwarded to you. Have erroneous reject messages forwarded to you. Deal with an endless stream of **** takers trying to login in using multiple identities. We don't want it and we don't need it. I doubt you would either. I can see their point.
