Featured Replies

I came across an interesting action metaphor today which seems to be self-explanatory; or, I may be totally misunderstanding:

" . . . interfering with the annual reshuffling of police positions into a new structure is becoming totally convoluted."

Here is another example of "ลิงแก้แห" from a article published last year:

This sentence has the implication that confusion results from "everyone doing their own thing" or "each [politician] marching to the beat of his own drummer" (ต่างคนต่างทำ).

The picture of a monkey trying to repair a fishing net, a task which requires a high degree of patience, is a nice, humorous, concrete way of describing a confusing process which can only sink deeper into chaos.

Am I understanding "ลิงแก้แห" correctly? What do you think?

This is exactly the meaning of ลิงแก้แห
