stevehaigh
hi, my friend has about 30 rai or so planted with eucalyptus, up in Chaiapum area. i know the price has dropped thought the floor but when she planted, she signed a contract with Double A paper co. which in theory guaranteed a purchase price. i think the contract price is about 1000baht/ton which well above the market price at the moment. does anyone have a price guarantee from Double A and are they sticking to the contract or finding some way out of it? my friend isn't up on the legal stuff and doesn't really know how to read a contract and my Thai isn't good enough to help. she's still a couple of years away from harvesting. thanks, steve
Mosha
Steve, if you look at the forum main page. look at the news clipping area. One of the sponsors there is Thailand Law online, maybe your mate should chat with them.
