BANGKOK: -- Residents of Yasothon, Amnart Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, Chanthaburi Trat warned of flash floods

The Meteorological Department Friday warned residents of Residents of Yasothon, Amnart Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, Chanthaburi Trat to brace themselves for heavy rains and possible flash floods.

In its urgent announcement, the department said the heavy rains would be unleashed by the influence of a low pressure mass over lower North, upper Central and Northeast coupled with the influence of the southwest monsoon.
