i'm in a bit of a pickle and i hope you can help. I've just built some temporary retaining walls with the intent of planting vetiver grass as a permanent solution to my erosion problem. vetiver is a super grass that grows 3m deep 'roots of steel' which hold slopes and embankments together. normally the regional land office has it and gives it away free but the ones in Surat and Nakhon have both run out until next year.

if anyone knows the phone numbers of some garden supply shops around Surat or Nakhon Sri Tam, pls post or PM me. i know there are a load of shops on the coast road south of Sichon, maybe Mr. Olsen knows some?

by the way, the Thai name for vetiver is yaa faaek ญ้าแฝก

i found some in samui so i'm ok now. not much activity on this forum is there!
