Insane U.S. restaurant prices -- is it kind of crazy not to eat out everyday in Thailand
I was looking at a repatriation possibility in the low cost midwestern small city of Springfield Missouri. There is a recommended Thai restaurant there -- ironically called Everyday Thai. In Springfield Mo, not NYC or LA! 19 dollar tom yum goong? Plus add tax and 20 percent tip. Everyday? Really? More like every MONTH. Everyday Thai Made me think it's kind of crazy NOT to eat out (or get delivery) everyday in Thailand. A satang for your thoughts. -

No True Move Wallet for Foreigners?
TrueMoney is definitely available to foreigners https://www.truemoney.com/foreigner/ I've had it for many years. Click the Register button on that link for instructions on how to make it work. IIRC the only thing you can't do is link to your bank account so, unless you have a Thai credit (or possibly debit) card, you have to top-up using cash. Of course, if you have a Thai bank account you can use the scan-to-pay function on their app. -

Updates on laws
Visits were yesterday and today. Shops owners were talking about it in our group. Seems a lot of people are scrambling to find a doctor or Thai traditional medicine person. Lets see how this plays out. -
