Chemo-side Effects

I have had three sessions of chemo now, each one around 50 hours on I.V. with no real apparent side effects. Little vomiting, pins & needles but no real worries. Until today. I went into our walk in deep freeze unit, to get some food out, and was in there for about three minutes, all the food I touched gave me a tingling feeling in my arms. Suddenly my legs stopped working and I collapsed, falling outside the unit, raking the skin off my arms. Could this be another side effect that I wasn't informed about? I was told not to drink cold drinks until a day after chemo. My last session ended saturday evening.

Martin,

My dad just when through Chemo and radiation for cancer in this throat.

The first bout of chemo, didn't realy knock him, but was just one shot

The second round he did have strong reactions to it,

Tingly fingers and toes

Vomiting, extreme nausea, No taste

Light headed and fanted one on the sidewalk, while going to the car.

I can email and ask him more about the effects,

He just finished Chemo and radiation 2 weeks ago.
