Hi,

As some of you may know my missus was recently granted a fiancee visa and will be coming to the UK at the end of this month.

My (her) question is - do we need ALL the documents we supplied for the fiancee visa? Specifically, is it necessay to again provide personal letters going back the last three years, and photographs going back the last 5 years of our relationship?

We provided a lot for the fiancee application and she's not particularly keen to use up her luggage allowance carrying all the letters/photos etc.

You won't need all of the stuff you used in your initial application. For the FLR application you will have to provide your marriage certificate + any previous marriage divorce papers, 2 photos of the applicant and 1 of the UK partner, bank statements/payslips to show you can maintain yourself without resorting to public funds + the completed form.

Thanks mate. I'll let her know - that answers probably worth a couple more pairs of shoes she can bring!

As you already have had a Visa approved your records will be kept on file, You(she) will need your Marriage license ,Chest Ex ray, with her in her hand luggage just in case they want to see them at Immigration at the airport, My wife will be bringing my file back with her in her hand luggage,as there are personal papers in them which i intend to keep.
