Reading List For College Prep

Featured Replies

Can anyone point me to a suggested reading list for Thai students preparing to go on to college in Thailand? :)

perhaps better off in the teaching in thailand forum, some teachers might have a better idea.

Could you explain a little more about what you want. I assume you mean English reading. Do you mean for someone who is going to study English or some other subject? Are they going into an international program or a Thai program?

If the OP means English majors who are just starting uni - then their first year is pretty redundant... they do mostly Thai morals and stuff like that; hardly any English.

If they're doing an English literature course then best ask the specific uni lecturers. Though, to get the students into reading will very much improve their studies, thus any English language novels, that they enjoy, are great (depends on their prefered genre). The simpler the better with regard to language, plot and themes - to start with... Harry Potter is a start which they often enjoy.

Just to be clear, is it "college" or "university"? There is a difference.
