dragonfly94
I have a non imm O visa issued at Hull. it's in red and underneath in red it says employment prohibited also in red. Looking at two American friends passports they have the same visa but theirs does not say employment prohibited, also these are in blue. We are all about the same age so what's the reason for the difference?
thaiphoon
It is nothing to worry about. You can work on Non-O visa so long as you have a work permit. Just a 'reminder' from the consulate that you cannot work on Non-O visa alone. Edited September 21, 2009 by thaiphoon
Artisi
They can't work either unless they have an employment contract and work permit and probably a re-vamped visa extension.

thaiphoon
You can work on either Non-O or Non-B visa as long as you have a work permit. The Labour Department may wish to see the contract of employment to issue the WP.
