Ok thanks for the info guys.

Looks like i'll have to use Phuket Immigration then after all. We've been living together for over a year in my rented accomodation so it certainly looks more like our home than her home in KK would.

I don't have a rental agreement, I just pay the LL each month, Would the LL's tabien baan signed by her be sufficient as proof of residence.

So am i right in saying that my current non-imm'B' will be granted 1 year extension based on marriage or does it have to be a non-imm 'O' for them to extend it.

All this hassle now, I hate to think what it's going to be like when we apply for her UK spouse Visa later down the line !!!!:blink:

To apply for a 12 month extension of stay you need a Non Imm Visa first. O or B will do.

(1) The alien has obtained a temporary visa (NON-IM)

(2) Proof of family relationship

(3) In the case of a spouse, the marital relationship shall be de

jure (legitimate) and de facto;

(6) In case of marriage with a Thai lady, the husband who is an alien must have an average annual income of not less than 40,000 baht per month or a money deposit in a local Thai bank of not less than 400,000 baht for the past 2 months for expenses within a year.

(1) will have entered Kingdom on non-imm 'B'

(2&3) will be officially married with all papers

(6) have had SCB account for over 4 years and had over 3 million in since 2010

So hopefully on those grounds plus other copies of stuff should be ok, depending whether the immigration guy got his leg over the night before !!! 5555
