1. You can not obtain such a visa in Thailand. But 90 day visa entries do not depend on your work and visa will still be valid for new entries until the expiration date on the visa. But if you have an extension of stay for one year from Immigration it will end the day your work ends.

2. Extensions of stay require financial proof and valid reasons. For marriage it would require you have income of 40k per month or have a 400k bank deposit in your name for 2 months prior to application.

If you have a Non-O visa (obtained from embassy/consulate) as opposed to extension of stay based on employment (obtained from Thai immigration) if you lose your job you can remain in the country until your permission to stay expires (otherwise have to leave day job ends unless obtain 7 day extension from immigration). When your current visa expires you can apply for multi-entry non-O visa at KL on the basis of marriage to Thai (needs about 30k in Thai bank) but will still have to do 90 day border runs. Alternatively you could apply for extension of stay based on marriage to Thai at immigration during the last 30 days of your permission to stay if you meet the requirements (400k in Thai bank in your name for 2 months prior to application or 40k/month income (your income)). Under this option you would not need to do border runs but would have to report your address to immigration every 90 days.

If you are on extension of stay based on employment, once you are married you could change the basis of your extension of stay from employment to marriage (as above).
