A friend back home asked if I could get some for him (he's too shy to "seek help"). May I know:

1) Where to get? Is it a over-counter drug?

2) Friend said there were 'real' and 'fake' viagra in the market, is that true? if so, how to differentiate:

3) How much?

4) Any side effect?

Appreciate your info. Thanks in advance.

Tell your 'friend'...

Go to any small drug store - they'll have it.

Only get the stuff in the Pfizer box.

Price around 400-500 Baht a pill

Side effects vary by person - a google search should tell you.

I've had it & to me it feels like taking speed (misspent youth) - I'm amazed it's legal.

It gives me a stuffy nose and an erection. If you have high blood pressure are overweight, I'd avoid it like the plague.

Why would you pay 500 for a brand name when you can get the generic thing - the same chemical substance i a different box - for 100?

Most users seem to report "flushing cheeks" so if you get that you'll know you have the real thing and not just repackaged Aspirin.

There are no medical reason Viagra should give you a feeling of being on speed, nor is there any reason not to take it due ot HBP - it works by lowering your BP, read up on it. Of course you shouldn't pop Viagra and "work out" harder than your pump can support it, I think that's what usually goes wrong on the Viagra/heart attack related cases.

Try Cialis.

36 hour coverage from one dose. No blue vision. No headache. Can eat with fatty food.

I've not tried it myself but have owned the parent company stock from time to time.

Have tried both. Cialis is my preference. Less side effects. Watch out for cheap imitations. Do be mindful of packaging and tell the clerk you will accept nothing less than the real thing. That way you have a legitmate reason for coming back around to kick his ass when he slips you a package of duds. Common in Bkk.

Cheers,

Sully

It has been reported that up to 75% of the name-brand ED (Erectile Dysfunction) type drugs sold outside the US, Canada and Europe are fake. Chinese authorities recently raided and closed down several illegal factories producing fake Viagra, where even Pfizer representatives had a hard time telling the real from the fake.

In the past, India has also been a large supplier of "generic" drugs (including ED drugs), however recently, the Indian Government passed new Patent Laws which may drastically limit generic production, while increasing cost due to a "licensing fee" sellers must now pay.

I hope you have cautioned your friend to obtain his doctors approval before using any of these ED drugs, as many carry potentially serious side effects.

Good to see that someone FINALLY posted the above. If your friend is "too shy" to see a medical doctor for his condition, then he has no business taking this prescription drug. They are extremely powerful drugs with potentially fatal side effects in people that haven't been properly screened for their use by a medical doctor. If you obtain the drug for him over-the-counter and supply them to him, only do so after he has been cleared by a doctor... otherwise you could potentially be responsible for his death, of which there have been many with Viagra and other similiar drugs.

Thanks guys.

I have in fact just written an e-mail to him and asked him to seek professional advice, as his problem could be psychological (would Viagra work if it's psychological problem?), according to my male friends.

Honestly, i really couldn't fathom out what could be the reasons of his ED. He's only 27, very good looking, came from a wealthy and healthy family, been seeing a very nice girl for 3 years, very healthy lifestyle (he's a gym instructor and familiar with nutrition stuff, he doesn't drink / smoke, etc.).

Once again, thanks for your replies.
