Want To Make Sausages, Can't Find Sage

Featured Replies

I want to make a couple of kg of English sausages next time we make a big batch of Isan sausage but I have not been able to find any sage. Makro has the widest range of herbs and spices I know of but I couldn't find sage. Does anybody know where I can find it in Bangkok? I'm looking for a decent size bag, not the small size jars of herbs they sell for 150 baht in Tescos etc.

If anybody has a nice pre-made spice mix for bangers or cumberland sausage please feel free to PM me with the details.

Just out of interest, does anyone know the Thai name for "Sage".

I did try looking it up in the dictionary, but using "One venerated for experience, judgment, and wisdom". as an ingredient in sausages does not seem to be a good idea :)
